How much does it cost?
My prices ranges between $1000.00 and $2380.00 depending on the sort of coverage you require and whether you would like to include an album. If you go to the contact tab on my website and enter your details I will email you a PDF of my prices. If you have a particular coverage that you would like I am happy to tailor something to your requirements.
Do you have much experience in photography?
Yes, I have been a fulltime professional photographer for many years, in fact it is the only job I have ever had. I trained as a photojournalist with News Ltd and worked for a decade on publications like The Daily Telegraph and The Australian newspapers. I have been photographing weddings for more than 15 years and have shot many hundreds.... there is nothing that can happen on a wedding day that I cannot cope with!
Where will we shoot the location images?
Because I have shot weddings in most areas of Sydney, I am happy to give all the help you need in selecting the locations where we will shoot. Of course much will depend on where your Ceremony and Reception are but I know of many great spots that you may never have thought of.
How far ahead do we need to book?
The short answer is... as soon as you can.
Because I will cover your wedding personally (I won't under any circumstance sub-contract you out to another photographer) I can only shoot one wedding per day. Some months of the year are very popular for weddings (March and November especially) so as soon as you can it is advisable to lock your date in.
Do I have to have an album?
No. You can have your images delivered in a way that suits you best. Disc, USB, Dropbox.
Of course, as a bit of a perfectionist and a control freak, I would love to see the images displayed in the best way and would always prefer to see them in an album but I am completely happy to let you do your own thing!
What sort of albums do you use?
I only use the highest quality book-bound, matted albums. They are completely custom designed and are available with many different cover options. All the albums come with a presentation box. The albums are from Albums Australia and are only available to professional photographers. The best way to get a sense of the style and feel of the albums is to make an appointment to come and see me and I will show you some examples of complete wedding albums.
How long will we have to wait for our photographs?
I pride myself of being as efficient as I can with your images, I know that you will be keen to see them as soon as possible. I can guarantee that your online, password protected gallery will be up within 7 days of your wedding.
The album will be ready no later than 4 weeks after you have approved the design.
Do I receive the digital files?
Yes, all my Coverages include the high resolution digital files. These files are colour-corrected and ready for printing. The files are not size restricted or watermarked in any way so you are free to print as many and at whatever size you would like. (I do offer an enlargement service if you require full professional quality prints).
Where can I see more?
If you go to my blog you will find almost every wedding I have shot in the last few years (just keep clicking the "older entries" tab at the bottom of each page and you see another batch of weddings) Here you will get a feel for the range of shots I will take... candids, details etc. (although I shoot many family shots as well, I do not normally put them on my blog). Of course I am also happy to meet with you at my studio and show you a selection of complete weddings.
Are there any "hidden costs"?
All the prices quoted on my pricelist are final. There is nothing extra to add. No travel fees as long as you are within a two to three hour radius of Sydney. No extra fees if you are running late. No "expenses" will be added...not even parking. If you book me today and your wedding is not for another 3 years the price will stay the same.
